Overview

Olde Homestead Golf Club is nestled just below the Blue Mountains in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania. The property has been in the family for over 250 years and is currently in its 9th generation of ownership. The course was designed by local architect Jim Blaukovitch and was opened in 1995. The facility features an 18-hole championship course, a 9-hole par 3 course, a practice facility with a full driving range and putting green with a short game area as well as a seperate warm-up range. The course is in the process of a revitalization project that will include tree removal, adjusted cut lines of the greens and fairways, and bunker removal and renovation. The course currently hosts 40,000 rounds on the 18-hole course and 8,000 rounds on the 9-hole par 3 course. The facility has 74 new EZGO gas powered golf carts with PACE Technology 10" GPS units. In addition to the busy golf operations, Olde Homestead also has 2 venues for events and weddings, the Bank Barn and Carriage House which are very busy most of the year.

Experience Required

Candidates should have a good golf background and be interested in pursuing/growing a career in golf. The successful candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the golf operation including teaching, merchandising, tournament operations, cart fleet management and more. There will be opporutnity for growth within the facility to a head professional position within 1-3 years based on performance and progress through the PGM program. Candidates that have PGA membership will be given consideration for a head professional position in an accelerated timeline.

Essential Responsibilities

All aspects of the golf operation including but not limited to:

• Daily play check in and collection of fees
• Tee time management
• Tournament operations
• Merchandising
• Golf Instruction
• Outside Operations
• Play with members/customers to promote the club
• Participation in PPGS and Philadelphia section events for qualified candidates
