The Opportunity
We're seeking a Class A PGA Head Golf Professional to serve as a key leader in shaping and elevating Epic Golf Club's golf experience. This role blends traditional PGA leadership with a modern membership model-focusing on member engagement, event execution, partnership development, and high-level service delivery.
This position is ideal for a golf professional who thrives in a relationship-driven environment, enjoys event and program leadership, and wants to influence a growing national golf community.
What You'll Do
1. Lead Member Golf Experiences & Events
- Plan, organize, and execute recurring member golf events throughout the year.
- Collaborate with host clubs and members to finalize dates, tee times, logistics, pricing, and experience details.
- Create event outlines, manage budgets, oversee registrations, and provide day-of leadership.
- Manage communications, rosters, results, and follow-up summaries.
- Gather and apply feedback to enhance future events.
2. Develop & Maintain Club Partnerships
- Build and strengthen relationships with private clubs, golf professionals, and club leadership.
- Identify new club partnership opportunities to expand member access and enhance regional coverage.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective partners and document key relationship details.
- Ensure long-term partnership health through consistent communication and professionalism.
3. Coordinate Member Play Requests
- Manage incoming member inquiries for play at partner and affiliated clubs.
- Liaise directly with clubs to secure access, confirm availability, and finalize arrangements.
- Provide timely updates to members and ensure smooth communication throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate internal tracking of requests and outcomes.
4. Support Charitable & Foundation Golf Initiatives
- Assist with planning and execution of foundation-related golf events and programs, including the organization's flagship Pro-Am.
- Coordinate communication with participating professionals, donors, and supporting members.
- Assist with scheduling, documentation, and follow-up activities related to foundation board meetings and fundraising rounds.
- Participate in foundation events to enhance the member and partner experience.
5. Serve as a Member-Facing Golf Leader
- Respond promptly to member golf inquiries and provide expert guidance.
- Build strong relationships with members and proactively engage key stakeholders.
- Represent Epic Golf Club at events, partner visits, and membership experiences.
- Collaborate across teams-including Membership, Events, and Concierge-to deliver a seamless, premium experience.
Experience Required
What We're Looking For
Required
- Class A PGA Member in good standing.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience as a PGA Professional, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong background in private clubs or premium golf environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead events, manage logistics, and interact professionally with high-level stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organizational discipline, and member-service orientation.
- Competence with commonly used professional tools (CRM, event software, email, spreadsheets).
- Ability to work onsite in Scottsdale and travel as required.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred
- Existing professional network within private club markets.
- Experience managing reciprocal play programs or similar access-based offerings.
- Background in premium membership or concierge-style service models.
