Overview:The Ledges is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Assistant Golf Professional to join our professional staff. This year-round position plays a key role in the daily golf operation and reports directly to the Head Golf Professional. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional service, developing their professional skills, and contributing to the continued growth of our player development programs.

About the Club:Established in 2000, The Ledges is the premier private golf club in North Alabama. Our championship course sits majestically atop the highest point in Huntsville and features breathtaking views. The 36,000-square-foot clubhouse includes a grand hall, private men's and ladies' lounges, three bars, two dining rooms, a large ballroom, private meeting spaces, and expansive upper and lower verandas for outdoor dining and events.

Position Summary:The Assistant Golf Professional will play an integral role in all facets of the golf operation, with a strong emphasis on player development, tournament operations, and member engagement. This individual will assist with daily golf shop management, lead select member tournaments, and oversee outside operations staff. A positive, service-oriented attitude is essential to help deliver an experience that consistently exceeds member and guest expectations.

Experience Required

Requirements:• PGA Class A Member / Completion of Level 2• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor• Golf Genius tournament software experience preferred• Highly motivated and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment• Team-oriented with strong communication and leadership skills

Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities:• Deliver an exceptional golf experience to members and guests through their attention to detail• Assist with all aspects of golf operations, including the golf shop, outside services, andtournament coordination• Serve as a tournament lead for at least one member tournament each season• Actively contributing to our player development programming, including private instruction and clinics• Support merchandising initiatives, including displays and product knowledge• Foster a strong and positive work environment among the golf operations team• Maintain a strong commitment to personal game improvement and professional growth• Continuously look for ways to enhance the member experience
