Overview

As a key member of the property's golf operations team, the Bag Room Attendant reports directly to the Golf Course Head Professional or Assistant Golf Professional and attends to the golf cart fleet and driving range.

Experience Required

• Knowledge of the game of golf preferred
• Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have strong customer/guest orientation
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs occasionally
• Must be able to work extended hours during golf and holiday season
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance
• Perform opening procedures for the bag room and cart barn
• Remove golf bags from cars and transport them to the bag racks
• Clean golf clubs and carts daily and perform light mechanical work on carts
• Set up for daily member play, regular tee times, groups, and outings
• Check in and out guest golf equipment and clean guest/rental clubs
• Keep a fresh supply of clean towels available and keep divot sand holders filled
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
