Description
OverviewLongue Vue Club is the premier family club in Pittsburgh and offers its members a championship golf course, pool, tennis and paddle courts, skeet shooting range, and phenomenal dining.
Longue Vue is currently ranked 14 th in Golf Digests list of top courses in the state of Pennsylvania. Longue Vue also was awarded the prestigious honor of being named co-host for the 121 st United States Amateur Championship in August of 2021 with nearby Oakmont Country Club.
Most recently, Longue Vue retained architect Andrew Green to design and execute a major golf course renovation, which began in the Spring of 2025, and concluded in the Spring of 2026. With Andrew's work now complete, Longue Vue anticipates climbing further up the ladder of Pennsylvania's Top Courses.

Essential Responsibilities
Golf interns at Longue Vue are extremely important to the operation as they are direct extensions of the Professional Staff and are constantly in contact points with our members and their guests. Interns will work 4-5 days per week and 30-35 hours per week depending on the summer schedule. Responsibilities will include both inside and outside work depending on length and level of internship, and highlights can be found below:
- Cultivate and maintain an effective working relationship with fellow golf operation team members
- Learn and retain detail in protocols that ensure a consistent members and guest experience in each facet of the operation
- Help enforce Club rules and regulations such as dress code policy, golf carts, range etiquette and additional rules
- Help organize and develop the Junior Golf Program, which consists of multiple weekly junior clinics and three PGA Junior League Teams
- Assist the Professional Staff with daily and major Club events
- Assist the Merchandiser with receiving and display of golf shop inventory
- Assist with daily tee time booking, event sign-ups and phone calls
- Maintain the practice facility area, which consists of a full driving range, putting green and short game area (Level 1 interns only)
- Cart staging and presentation (Level 1 interns only)
- Help manage the bag room (Level 1 interns only)
